We are looking for an experienced policy and public affairs professional to develop our well-respected policy influencing and campaigning work on behalf of unpaid carers in Wales.
You will work to ensure that Welsh Government, politicians and policy makers understand the needs of carers and work to improve and increase support, including carers rights and equality and access to services and support. You will achieve this by working with carers, engaging them with our policy, public affairs and campaign activity.
You will have experience of generating support for charitable missions, making a policy influencing impact and undertaking and disseminating research. You demonstrate political astuteness and judgement and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including preparing papers and public speaking, as well as being a confident people manager.
