Information and Advice Officer (Wales)

- Job type: Part Time - 28 hours per week (preferred Mon-Thursday)/ Fixed Term Contract to March 2025 with the possibly of an extension dependant on funding

This is an exciting role for someone who is already working in information and advice. You will have a key role in the provision and production of Carers Wales information and advice, including digital content and information resources for carers and secondary audiences such as the cared for and employers.
You will have up to date knowledge and recent experience providing information and advice and be willing to develop your knowledge further to provide the best possible support for unpaid carers.
You will act as a main point of contact for people contacting us for information and advice. You will have a thorough understanding of the issues involved in working with vulnerable people, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage professionally and confidently with carers face to face, on the phone or via email and social media.
