Carers UK is a registered charity, number 246329 (England & Wales) and SC039307 (Scotland), of 20 Great Dover Street, London SE1 4LX, and will be referred to as ‘Carers UK’ or ‘we’ in these terms and conditions.
As a member, you have the right to approve new appointments to our Board of Trustees and to vote at Carers UK’s Annual General Meetings.
As a member of Carers UK you will receive our quarterly Caring magazine, information about your membership and be able to opt in to receive caring information, news on Carers UK’s work, services, events and campaigns. You'll also be able to access our online forum (Community Guidelines apply).
If you’ve given consent to be contacted by phone, you may be contacted by one of Carers UK's volunteers to welcome you to the organisation and tell you about the help available from Carers UK.
Carers UK stores your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations and does not share your details with third parties. To find out more please read our Privacy Policy.
Conditions of membership are determined by Carers UK's governing document, our Memorandum and Articles of Association. A copy is available by emailing membership@carersuk.org.
Carers UK reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership if the member behaves in a manner that contravenes Carers UK's Code of Conduct.

Code of conduct
Carers UK wants everyone who comes into contact with our organisation to be treated in a friendly and welcoming manner. Carers UK expects courtesy and co-operation to be shown towards all members, staff, trustees and volunteers at any Carers UK event, activity or meeting, and also in online communications. Carers UK expects people to act in such a way that Carers UK is not brought into disrepute. Abusive or aggressive behaviour, including harassment, towards Carers UK members, staff, Trustees, volunteers or towards people attending Carers UK events, activities or posting online will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
