We’re grateful that you’ve thought of us during this time. Donating or arranging a collection in memory of someone special is a positive way to remember a loved one.
Because of your generosity, we can continue to advocate and campaign for unpaid carers across the UK.
Here are some of the ways you can donate in memory and celebrate a special someone’s life.
You can make a donation online and you can tell us the name of the person you’re remembering and their relationship to you.
If you prefer, you can also post a cheque made out to: Carers UK, 20 Great Dover Street, London SE1 4LX.
With an online tribute fund you can create a dedicated page for friends and family to remember a loved one. It's a place for family and friends to make donations to Carers UK in memory of their loved one whilst sharing photographs, stories and memories.
You can set up a personalised tribute fund quickly and easily using Enthuse or MuchLoved.
Many people also choose to fundraise in memory of a someone special. If you’d like to complete a challenge event in memory of your loved one, we’d love to welcome you at one of our events. Alternatively, we can help you arrange your own special event, doing something dear to them, like a quiz night, a darts match or a bake-off.
One way of remembering someone special is to ask people to donate in lieu of flowers for a funeral or remembrance service. If you’d like to set up a funeral collection, we can send you donation envelopes.
Alternatively, ask your funeral director to collect donations and send them to us via post.
If you want to request that donations are made to us as part of your own funeral wishes, you should ensure that either the executors of your will know, or that it’s included in the details of your funeral.
