Carers UK carries out an annual survey of carers to collect evidence on a whole range of issues affecting carers' lives.

This year over 7,000 people shared their views and experiences on what life is like for carers in 2017. The report only includes the views of the 6,607 respondents who said that they are currently caring.

 This is the largest State of Caring Survey carried out by Carers UK to date.
